
ROBYN LEE HORN BIOGRAPHY
Robyn is in her second year as a Ph.D. student in Theatre and Performance at the University at Buffalo, SUNY, where she is a Presidential Fellow. She received an MA in English Literature from Vermont’s Middlebury College Bread Loaf School of English in 2018. Horn’s research interest is in stagings of morality in the politically and culturally divided United States. Her research has centered on religious performance, including for-profit Christian musicals, Mormon pageants, and Evangelical Hell Houses. Her next project will be on religious theme parks. Before beginning her doctoral studies, Horn was a teacher of theatre arts at the Academy for Performing Arts high school in New Jersey where she was named teacher of the year in 2017. She has been working as an actor professionally for twenty years and is a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
